time: my lunch hour
place: the parking lot, just outside of cheesecake factory
why: going for some delicious saladey lunch
what: I was walking between cars to cut across to the overpopulated (because everyone else apparently has today off!!) lunch place of choice, minding my own business when BAM!!!!!!! hello, pavement! i fell HARD right on my left knee and palms, knocking the wind out of me. apparently, it was near-death by pothole. those of you who know me would know i'm blinder than a bat, so this should be no surprise. luckily, my hands are in tact, but my knee seems to keep oozing some blood while swelling like a giant apple instantaneously as my nerves scream like wicked stepchildren. i now have a series of small bandaids covering the fleshwound as no giant bandaids were to be found.
i was clumsy. now i'm grumpy.
